Background & Education
From Venezuela to a Career in American Medicine
Born and raised in Venezuela, he immigrated to the United States in the 1990s in pursuit of the opportunities and values that would shape both his life and medical career.
He completed his undergraduate education at Yeshiva University in New York before earning his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California.
Clinical Training & Practice
Comprehensive Care Across the Lifespan
Following medical school, he completed a combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency through Staten Island University Hospital, SUNY Downstate Medical Center, and Kings County Hospital in New York. This comprehensive Med-Peds training established a strong foundation for caring for patients of all ages across a broad range of medical conditions.
After residency, he and his family made Florida their home. He has since cared for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings throughout the state, including Mount Sinai Medical Center, Baptist Hospital of Miami in Kendall, North Shore Medical Center, and Pediatric Associates, among other respected healthcare organizations.
Working across hospital and ambulatory environments has given him a deep appreciation for the full continuum of care and the importance of treating each patient as an individual.

In 2008, he proudly joined the United States Army and rose to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. His military career included a deployment to Afghanistan and multiple mobilizations, with service both at home and overseas.
Caring for service members reinforced his commitment to compassionate, evidence-based medicine and gave him firsthand insight into the physical and psychological challenges that many veterans experience after military service.
